About 9 weeks ago Apparently ‘golf’ is quite big in Dubai...

(This is actually what’s known as a ‘super-moon’, captured at one of our hotels, the Burj Al Arab. If you’re interested you can see more of it on our site, here: http://ow.ly/qQEJK )

About 8 weeks ago OMG. THIS HOTEL HAS FREE WI-FI!

(Oh, and a swimming pool in a cave if you're into that kind of thing...)

This is the Katikies hotel in Santorini, Greece (http://ow.ly/tKndL).

About 7 weeks ago “Plunging over 80 feet into shark infested waters?”

“Fun, you say?”

Well, it is at the 5 star Atlantis the Palms hotel in Dubai.

And you can see more of this hotel and their epic water-slide, on our site, here: http://ow.ly/u38Jn

About 4 weeks ago The Algarve (http://ow.ly/uMe8y) .

Famous for sun, sea, pottery… and dragons?!

The Odeleite River in Portugal is otherwise known as the Blue Dragon river, thanks to its unusual twists, turns and dramatic colour.

About 7 weeks ago " Well blow me down !"

Here’s Sweethaven Village in Malta (http://ow.ly/u5G1o).
Otherwise known as the setting for the Popeye film. The village was built as a film set for the 1980’s Popeye film, and is now open to the public as an open-air museum and entertainment complex.

"A-gah-gah-gah-gah-gah-gah!"

About 9 weeks ago Has Iceland (http://ow.ly/tH2QX) ever been known for its elephants ?!

Perhaps not. Until now...

There’s no mistaking the animal that this cliff face resembles. And this elephant shaped eroded rock face sits on the coast of Vestmannaeyjar; a collection of islands off the south coast of Iceland which are known for the eruption of the Eldfell volcano in 1973.

About 2 weeks ago FOR SALE: Spacious, 3 storey semi in leafy suburb.

Eco-friendly, no problems with the neighbours and safe from lions, trolls and bears.

(Whilst we’re not 100% sure if this amazing tree-home in British Columbia, Canada is actually for sale, you can still pay it a visit and admire the handy work. To view our hotels in the area, click here: http://ow.ly/vgZDZ)

About 12 weeks ago The famous White Cliffs of Dover  (http://ow.ly/sMGWL).

Before air travel, these cliffs were the first thing travellers would see of England …

… better than duty free and a Starbucks.

The White Cliffs of Dover form part of the English coastline, facing the strait of Dover and France. Made out of white chalk (hence the name!), the cliff face reaches up to 350 feet.

About 7 weeks ago This is the aptly-named Sunshine Skyway bridge spanning across Tampa Bay, Florida (http://ow.ly/uazOU).

Over 4 miles long, this massive steel and concrete structure  was allegedly inspired by the Brotonne Bridge in France. Due to its location and height, it also appears in a number of films and car adverts. Pretty glamorous for a bridge .

About 6 weeks ago One of the rare occasions when there’s no queue to go up the Eiffel Tower ...

Last year, a lightning bolt struck the Eiffel Tower, Paris (http://ow.ly/ufElh) in a freak summer storm, causing the entire sky to light up. Moments later the aggressive storm was over, whereupon it made its way across the English Channel. Thanks for that one.
