About 2 weeks ago The story behind this incredible photo of a monkey using an iPhone
”Earlier this year, our group was photographing the snow monkeys when tourists from a nearby resort arrived. Suddenly, we were surrounded by people shooting with iPads and iPhones, mostly selfies. We were standing close to the edge of the hot spring, when one of the tourists started taking shots with her iPhone, moving the phone closer to the macaque after each shot.

Suddenly, the macaque grabbed the iPhone from her hands — and quickly moved away towards the middle of the hot spring!

The owner screamed in agony, but the macaque was too fascinated by its new toy to notice.

The minutes that followed were downright hilarious. Monkeys already resemble humans in so many ways, but when they’re holding an iPhone, the similarities are almost scary. At some point, it even managed to let the built-in flash of the iPhone go off. When the macaque decided to do some serious underwater testing, the owner of the phone al

About 13 weeks ago Pizza Cake?!?
A Canadian pizza chain called Boston Pizza — confusing name choice! — is running some sort of "If you like it, we'll make it!" publicity stunt. Basically, it's inviting folks to vote on some "Pizza Game Changers," which include pizza mints, pizza cake, and ... well, it probably only gets stranger from there.

About 12 weeks ago One story at a time…
”I almost wish I hadn't gone down that rabbit-hole — and yet — and yet — it's rather curious, you know, this sort of life! I do wonder what can have happened to me!”

I often fall into virtual rabbit-holes — Wikipedia-holes, to be specific — and I’m not the only one, am I? It starts out all innocently — you look up John Mayer’s discography or try to find out which joint in the human body is the largest — and the next thing you know … you’re staring at a list of English words containing the letter Q not followed by the letter U.

Earlier I fell into a somewhat different sort of virtual rabbit-hole. A Google+ hole. I started at a post containing a photo of an adorable, fuzzy-wuzzy creature and somehow wound up reading my way through posts with the #MyGooglePlusStory hashtag. “Google+ helped me make the closest of friends and I cannot lose them, please,” one user — a young woman — wrote. I’ve taken the liberty of fixing some typos and ignoring the all-caps na
